What We Know
GM says the appearance of the 2010 Buick LaCrosse is "strongly influenced" by the Buick Invicta displayed at the Beijing auto show earlier this year. That car was the joint work of GM teams in China and Michigan and was billed as "Buick's strongest statement yet of its deliberately international plans." It had a 2.0-liter four-cylinder direct-injection turbocharged engine making 250 horsepower, and a six-speed automatic transmission. The 2010 LaCrosse will ride on GM's new global midsize platform and make its debut at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show.
What Edmunds.com says
Better looking than any current Buicks, the LaCrosse might give the brand a shot in the arm if it delivers the kind of luxury its design promises.
