I just called Land Rover USA and they said the 6 complimentary services will still be honored for 2008 LR2s. Starting with the 2009 models though, they'll only get the one service. That's too bad, but I'm glad we'll still get what we paid for when buying the '08 LR2. I would have been pretty bent if they rolled back that offering. Read More...

ucla95 - Although Land Rover is now owned by Tata Motors, I suggest contacting the President of Jaguar Land Rover North America and explaining the situation to him. Copy the Dealership Manager on your correspondence so that he/she knows that you are going directly to the top with this issue. DO NOT GO TO Jaguar Land Rover Mission Viejo!!! I leased my 2008 LR2 from them in Oct 07 and had the WORST customer service out of any dealership I've ever purchased a vehicle from. I ended up speaking directly with LR's U.S. Manager in order to get anything done - ended up having them pay for one of my lease payments due to poor customer service. I would highly recommended ... Just went online to tirerack.com as you recommended and this was the response that I received: You Selected: 2008 Land Rover LR2 SE Winter wheels for this vehicle are not available but winter tires can be purchased separately by selecting your size at the right. I own a 2008 LR2 SE and am about to dish out $700 big ones for the LR2's Snow Traction System, but started to wonder if it's worth it. First off, it's over $700!!! Secondly, they're only for the front tires, which means you get zilch for the back tires. I live in Upstate NY where we get, on average, 6-12 inches of snowfall per session. Through then, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2008 LR2 SE with 15,000 miles per year are an unbelievably bad .00390 and 59%, respectively.
