Slightly different turning and better interior materials earn the Tribute a higher rating than the silimiar Ford Escape.

Dynamics

Well-balanced chassis, direct steering, adequate power.

Comfort

Ride is hard, but well damped. NVH seems a bit better than the similar-Escape.

Function

Ergonomic layout is better than the related Escape.

Design/Build Quality

Exterior styling a bit less square and dated than the Escape. Interior materials are a cut above the Escape's as well.

Comfortable Quality interior materials, comfortable seats.

Family Friendly Plenty of space for family of four.
